  • Innovator and producer of the flagship Bible teaching TV show for RJM, “Time In The Word (TITW).”
  • Directed live broadcasts, films, and recordings, and non-broadcast programming for public entertainment and education.
  • Video Asset Management including archiving and maintaining a digital library of 1000, 2-hour long form productions, and 1600, 30-minute episodes (formerly a physical library of tapes), currently digital on-air files and the distribution to Broadcast points.
  • Supervised weekly pre-recorded and remote (virtual) production of three long-form and 10 episodic messages for broadcast and streaming.
  • Edited and added sourced materials, such as illustrations, into messages to enhance final production and increase viewer experience.

 

Live Event Coordinator:

  • Supervised and coordinated staff of 12 personnel including an On-site Producer, Technical Director, Camera Operators, Floor Director, Sound/Audio Engineers, and Lighting Technicians.
  • Supervised event set up, hard wiring of equipment, live production, recording, editing of recordings, and duplicating final product for distribution.

 

Closed-captioning Technician:

  • Synchronize written transcripts to each individual episode and encode the file for broadcast station use.

 

TV Production Acquisition Manager:

  • Researched, identified, and procured all equipment including cameras, cables, Videotape Recorders, Digital Video Recorders, tripods, lights (including wattage, dimmer packages) resulting in 80% savings in overall equipment costs.
  • Transitioned entire setup from Analog equipment to High-Definition equipment (linear to non-linear) resulting in modernization and increased quality of broadcast products with a 75% in cost savings.
  • Researched closed-captioning solutions and determined the most cost-effective software that meets FCC standards and improves viewer experience.

 

Financial Analyst:

  • Oversee flow of cash up to $80,000 including reporting and coding of tithes, donations, and fund-raising projects, and execution of disbursements utilizing Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook software.  Approve local costs and distribution. View and oversee bank activities and statements.
  • Prepare budget using Excel and reports to executive staff for review and approval.

Hosanna Broadcasting Network

Long Beach, CA, July 2017 – Present
  • Broadcast Producer:

    • As Producer, analyze performance data to inform executive leadership on decisions for future productions, marketing, and personnel.
    • Set up the remote studio, directed the recording of 40 original shows, and edited shows for airing on network and YouTube for two seasons.
    • Remotely direct and produce quarterly four-hour live show broadcasted on Facebook, YouTube, Hosanna Broadcasting.com website, and their over-the-air channels.

     

    Broadcast Engineer:

    • Build-out of Broadcasting Server including identifying and building two on-premise compute servers, one as the play-list host, the other as the streamer, and connecting via digital transfer, high-resolution, Network Devise Interface (NDI). This solution saved the network over $45,000 in costs.
    • Selected the appropriate power supplies, storage, memory, and “Playdeck.TV” play-out software.
    • Configured IP addresses on the network cards.
    • Programmed the encoder for the encoded high-resolution stream to connect over the internet to a matching decoder at the 10 over-the-air broadcast points.
    • Configured the Redundant Array of Inexpensive Drives (RAID) to provide over 30TB of media storage with redundancy.
    • Trained six Broadcast Engineers to remotely access the play-out software for streaming of network content.
    • Comprehensive testing and analysis of new and existing systems to ensure quality and performance.
    • Encode and create settings for broadcast programs using Internet Protocol TV (IPTV), including use of Over the Top (OTT) internet channels.
    • Facilitated OTT streams to App providers.

    Graphic Designer:

    • Creatively design flyers, social media posts, publicity tags, developing of logos, web banners, video overlays, proposal (slide-deck) for seminars and presentations on a monthly basis resulting in effective advertising, sponsorship, support and increased viewership of the network.
    • Design 5 to 15 second video transitions including music, scriptures, and station identifications.
    • Create Station ID “overlay” graphics that are displayed over the video.
    • Updated the network’s website (hosannabroadcasting.com) using WordPress including choosing and adapting the template, adding and editing content.
